From a cocoon to a butterfly...
Our promoters and their supporting friends have been volunteers for the past few years in other welfare organizations, including those of large corporations' CSR groups, for the education of children.
For children from the Municipal Corporation Schools (from PMC and PCMC area) those who excel in academics till standard 8 and beyond, our volunteers are engaged in following activities:

Teaching the children to prepare them for competitive exams in the future (e.g. entrance exams after standard 12 to higher education like Engineering)

Mentoring the children and their parents to consistently pursue the goal of higher education, including extending support for their medical and healthcare needs.

Financial help for coaching classes for entrance exams (for standard 11 and 12).

Interacting with other social welfare organisations to provide facilities for preparatory classes (as in "1" above), scholarships, discounts in fees, other types of financial help for needy students; getting books, teaching material, and volunteer teachers for this work.

Project Wings
Vocational training and skill development for girls/women.
For this set of students, following activities are underway:
1. Financial support to needy girl students in vocational courses in one of the leading social-welfare focused education institutes.
2. Interaction with other welfare organisations to obtain financial aid / scholarship to the girls.
3. Designing skill development courses with the help of teachers and other welfare organisations and getting sponsors/sponsorship for courses for these women/girls, (with the aim of teaching them skills to earn a livelihood in urban areas).
